HoYoverse doesn’t officially approve any overlay. A separate window that never touches the game is the lowest-risk way to build one.

Can I get banned for this?Kann ich dafür gebannt werden?
The overlay is a separate, see-through window. It doesn’t read or change the game, injects nothing and sends no input. It only looks at the screen, the same way OBS or Discord screen sharing does. HoYoverse doesn’t officially approve overlays, so nobody can promise zero risk, but this is the safest way to build one.

Yes. The download on GitHub is free and has every feature. On Ko-fi you get the same app and pay what you want, which goes toward the servers and a code-signing certificate.

The app isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows shows this warning. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. A signing certificate is the first thing Ko-fi support goes to.

Genshin’s exclusive fullscreen hides every other window. Start the game with “Start Genshin borderless” from the tray menu, or pick window mode in the graphics settings. With several monitors, choose the right screen in the tray menu.
